Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing in India and is looking for world-class candidates to join our-enterprise business.
As the manager for the Digital Native Business (DNB) business in Western India for AISPL, your responsibilities will include building and executing the strategy to increase AWS adoption and market penetration across mid to large startup accounts across the region with a view to build a long-term, fast growing scale business.
The ideal candidate should possess a business development background that enables them to engage at all levels of a customer, including C-levels of the business and IT/technology teams.
He/She will also demonstrate a strong technical competency focused on the IT landscape and cloud computing. He/she should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a region and territory coverage plan based on business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
. Accelerate customer adoption by identifying specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a value proposition for using Amazon Web Services cloud
. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key companies at the C-levels of Business & IT
. Work closely with various other AISPL functional teams (specialist, channels, Professional Services, Training & Certfiication) to deliver as required for customers
. Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports
. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
. Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) and internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc)
. Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team within AISPL
. Ensure on-going customer satisfaction and retention
Basic Qualifications :
. The right person will possess 15+ years of experience in IT sales:
. Direct field & management experience in working with enterprise and/or startup customers
. Would have consistently exceeded key performance metrics
. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
. Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
. Strong technical competencies in the areas of cloud computing, SOA, web services and enterprise software
. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Preferred Qualifications :
* Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Technology with a Masters in Business Administration
* Strong technical background
* Exposure to/experience in selling cloud services
